  Food was good, It's not the choices you would expect in "Little China town" in Melbourne. But what is offer is very tasty. Great locals, really good conversations. I have struck up many freindships here...

  We had had a 7 hour drive and were hungry and weary. We needed a solid meal and decided to have Chinese. Bad choice. Alarm bells should have rung when they said they did Thai food too. A very loooooong wait later our takeaway arrived. The Thai chicken red curry was a sea of palest pink sauce with a few sad overcooked bits of vegetable floating about. They must have waved a jar of chili over it with the lid still on. The "chicken" was like no chicken I've ever had....mystery meat more like it, which tasted like chewy stringy poached squid...neither chicken nor fish but some strange mutant amalgam of both. Anyway, you get the idea. The vegetable curry and tom yum goong was just as bad. It was expensive tasteless glop. They said they don't use ginger in any of their dishes, go figure. Go to the pizza place instead. Maybe they're better, but we're only here one night. I'm still hungry.
